Slow start today, made our traditional Sunday breakfast of crumpets, Croisants, orange juice and tea, our daughter is home from university this weekend, I'm working as her research assistant on her final year project analysing the behavour of a colony of rooks. This was day 14 of 30. It was 5 degrees and raining, still better than yesterday, it was 3 degrees and snowing. My part is to act as bodyguard and goffer, standing in a field for 2 or 3 hours.
After visiting my elderly mum, we filled my wife's shopping list, she is still sorting old 'treasures' from the garage roof and dressing the outside tree.
Watched some of the football on TV, then back to the domestics, made dinner. I drove our daughter back to her apartment at university, watched a film, The General's Daughter. Nothing exciting today.

We also feed and care for 3 out door rescue cats.
